Oxford Numicon
Oxford Numicon is an award-winning early maths programme that helps children develop a clear understanding of numbers through visual and hands-on learning. By using distinctive shapes to represent quantities, children see how numbers relate to one another and learn through reasoning rather than rote counting.
Through Numicon, children build strong foundations in number sense, patterns, and relationships such as more/less, part–whole, and basic operations. The programme supports logical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical confidence, providing an excellent basis for a smooth transition into primary school.

BOOKLab
Three workshops that open the world of imagination, language, and creativity.
BookLab is a creative reading and language programme for first graders. Through three carefully designed workshops, children explore stories, expand their imagination and vocabulary, practise clear expression, and create their own picture books—all in a warm, supportive environment at Prizma.
Workshop 1 – Reading and understanding a story
Children enter the story through interactive reading, predicting events, and discussing characters, emotions, and messages. The workshop builds empathy, enriches vocabulary, and strengthens reading comprehension.
Workshop 2 – Language games and story creation
Through sound games, creative storytelling, and playful activities, children develop communication skills, imagination, clear expression, and logical connections.
Workshop 3 – Creating their own picture book
Children become young authors: they invent characters, shape the plot, illustrate a cover, and create a unique picture book—building confidence, artistic expression, and an understanding of how books are made.
