PRINCIPLES & INTEGRITY
Character matters
more than status.
Grades reflect knowledge. Pressure does not change academic standards.
Knowledge is built through understanding, effort and perseverance. Results without understanding are not an educational goal for us.
TEACHERS
We help students discover their potential and inspire them to develop it in the direction that interests them most.
Working in smaller groups, often with two teachers, allows us to give each student the attention they deserve.
At Prizma, knowledge and character are equally important.
STUDENTS
Our students enjoy understanding how things work, asking questions and exploring beyond the curriculum.
That is why Prizma is a natural fit for students who seek more from learning than simply completing the required material, and less so for those who see school mainly as an obligation to get through.

Welcome to the school of the future !
At Prizma, we believe in the power of knowledge and skills — but above all, we believe in the child: in their curiosity, questions, and potential. We follow the Croatian national curriculum, enriched with a natural science approach in which curiosity is the strongest driver of learning.
Learning at Prizma is an experiential process. Children explore, connect ideas, and make sense of the world around them. Through projects, experiments, and interdisciplinary work, we teach them how to think, not just what to memorise — and how to apply knowledge in everyday life.
Confidence, responsibility, and collaboration are integral parts of our curriculum. Knowledge truly matters only when a child believes in themselves, and it grows best in an environment where children feel seen, accepted, and supported.
Within a safe and encouraging setting, we focus on effort and progress rather than comparison. Every child has a unique potential, and our role is to support them in becoming the best version of themselves.
Our science-led approach
We chose the Croatian national curriculum as a clearly defined educational foundation, as it provides students with a comprehensive framework for further schooling. What makes Prizma distinctive is the science-inspired approach we have built upon this foundation—not as an add-on, but as the way children learn every day. Instead of shaping an average pupil who simply completes school tasks, this approach nurtures an engaged child for whom school is not an obligation, but a playground for curiosity.
At Prizma, a science-inspired approach means that children do not acquire knowledge passively; they discover it through questions, observation, exploration, and reasoning. Rather than memorising facts, they learn how things work, why they happen, and how they are connected. In this way, even a demanding and comprehensive curriculum becomes meaningful, clear, and accessible to children. Through inquiry, projects, and problem-based tasks, learning gains context and purpose. Children learn to think inquisitively, ask questions, test ideas, and connect knowledge across different areas—an approach that allows understanding to last, rather than fade.
Our science-inspired approach is not about creating “little scientists,” but about developing children who better understand the world around them, trust their own thinking, and know how to apply what they learn in real-life situations.

Why Prizma ?
Because choosing a primary school is a decision about the quality of a child’s educational development — and what is missed at this stage is much harder to make up for later.
Because a school must keep pace with a rapidly changing world in order to prepare children for a successful and fulfilling life within it.
Because teaching in small groups, with two teachers in each class, substantially increases the effectiveness of learning and makes an individualised approach natural and continuous.
Because we are guided by highly motivated teachers and a strong support team who are genuinely committed to continuous improvement and to achieving the highest standards in primary education.

Continuity that creates confidence and advantage
Prizma Primary School and our kindergarten Maleni talenti are part of the same educational ecosystem and share the same pedagogical philosophy.
Children who begin their educational journey at Maleni talenti enter a thoughtfully designed, structured, and stimulating learning environment from the very earliest age—one that continues naturally at Prizma.
Thanks to this continuity, the transition from kindergarten to school is not a stressful break, but a logical step forward. Children arrive confident, well-prepared, and familiar with an approach that nurtures curiosity, understanding, and independent thinking.
